Great, as if adding a 5th BCS game wasn't enough, now they managed to cheapen things even more. Rose Bowl A and Rose Bowl B? I think I'm gonna barf. And of course the site that hosts the piggyback game will also get the BCS leftovers, which means the Marshalls and TCUs of the world will be soiling the game with their presence. ABC and the BCS are defecating on the rich tradition of the Rose Bowl. On the bright side, with all the extra money they'll be making, maybe ABC can foot the bill to put Keith Jackson's senile ass in a home and replace him with somebody who knows where the hell he is.

I don't like the piggy back game either!!

However I think the weak game would be called the Rose Bowl... and the Champ game would be called the Championship game (leave the bowl name out... at least I would hope they do it that way, or there will be two bowl winners on the same bowl each year :( )...

It doesn't matter what they call what. The fact is, it looks like every four years, we're going to have at least one bastardized version of the Rose Bowl, if not two. It's sucked the past couple years when there hasn't been a Big Ten-Pac 10 matchup in Pasadena. Imagine when we end up with Marshall-Utah in one game, and Miami-Oklahoma in the other!

Sorry but the Rose Bowl is already dead. It died in 2002 when not only was there not a Big10/Pac10 matchup, but neither conference was represented.

The bowl system is dead, bury it and get on with a playoff.
