The reigning NL Rookie of the Year?s injury was revealed in an MRI Monday. He was hurt while delivering a pie in the face to teammate Wes Helms(notes) following the pinch-hitter?s bases-loaded single in the 11th inning of a 5-4 win over Atlanta on Sunday.

I always thought the pie-in-the-face thing was dumb. I figured the guys that did it got barely enough courtesy laughs when they got back to the club house to think others actually enjoyed it.
