The Rose Bowl gets first replacement choice for USC, and decides to pick #3/#4 Georgia over Pac Ten runner-up ASU, since keeping the Big Ten-Pac Ten matchup is too hokey, as Georgia will have already won in Tempe.
And it's not really a prediction, but a way to maximize my chances of winning the contest - those are two different things. Almost everybody has tOSU in the Title game.
Based on The Rose Bowl's well known preference for keeping the Big 10 - Pac 10 matchup, I just automatically assumed that the Fiesta Bowl would've had 1st choice in your scenario. That would mean that the Sooners were #1.
I didn't think about the fact that UGA would have already beaten the Sun Devils though. That does make it more plausible. It was definitely one of the more interesting choices. I, on the other hand, went with straight chalk.
