Alright. I've got a way for you.
1. Go to the video you want to watch. Let's say it's
this video.
2. Now, check your Location bar, you should see this address:
http://photobucket.com/mediadetail/?media=%2Fplayer.swf%3Ffile%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fvid267.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fii281%2Fslowtalkforums%2FThatdidntgoaccordingtoplan.flv&searchTerm=&pageOffset=
3. Copy that into your favorite text editor (notepad will do fine)
4. Edit it to find just the .flv file, for example:
http://photobucket.com/mediadetail/?media=%2Fplayer.swf%3Ffile%3D
http%3A%2F%2Fvid267.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fii281%2Fslowtalkforums%2FThatdidntgoaccordingtoplan.flv&searchTerm=&pageOffset=
5. Now, that's pretty ugly. Let's clean it up.
%3A = :
%2F = /
Replace all the strings that show up as "PercentNumberLetter" (could also be "PercentNumberNumber").
I gave you the two examples there. There could be more, if so, feel free to ask, or look
here for the answer. (You want to match the number-letter or number-number after the % sign to the same in the Hx column, then find the character on the right.)
So, this:
http%3A%2F%2Fvid267.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fii281%2Fslowtalkforums%2FThatdidntgoaccordingtoplan.flv
becomes:
http://vid267.photobucket.com/albums/ii281/slowtalkforums/Thatdidntgoaccordingtoplan.flv
6. Put that into your location bar in the browser and go to it.
The video will do one of two things:
- Ask you to download it, which is what you want.
- Start playing, in which case you should be able to go to the 'File' menu and select 'Save As'
7. Converting .flv can be a mess, so just download
VLC Media Player and enjoy your videos.
