Jurkovec (6-5 190) is rated the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the nation per 247Sports, and given his size, athleticism and location, he has already been dubbed by some as "The Next Terrelle Pryor."

This past season — his first on varsity — he completed 176 of 265 (66.4%) passes for 2,575 yards with 20 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He also rushed for 1,250 yards on 130 carries (9.6 ypc) with 11 touchdowns.

Jurkovec became the second WPIAL quarterback to pass for 2,000 yards and rush for 1,000 yards in a season, a feat that Pryor was never able to accomplish himself.

Other info. This one is over unless something drastically changes between then and now and granted, it is a looooong time till signing day for him, however, I think it would take a Kelly firing to alter this destiny at this point.

Phil enjoyed his visit & was impressed by the culture and commitment to excellence at tOSU. Also enjoyed meeting the fellow recruits in attendance & spent a great deal of time meeting with coaches, who showcased their competitive spirit and drive to push the development of players.

Gonna be a real tough pull from ND and Pitt but getting him on campus before he committed to any other program was a start. Keep taking your best swings until he tells you no. #1 QB on the '18 board for me and it's not even that close.
