PG C.J. Walker (Official Thread)

This fall hasn't been a normal one for anybody in this country.

The coronavirus pandemic didn't stop 51 current and former Ohio State athletes from graduating from the university following the Autumn 2020 semester.

Former linebacker Ryan Shazier, point guard CJ Walker, center Josh Myers, former cornerback Jeff Okudah, defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, former offensive lineman Alex Boone, wing Musa Jallow and linebacker Tuf Borland were among those to earn degrees from their university during Sunday's virtual commencement ceremony.

“It's always a possibility, for sure, with the free year for COVID,” Walker said. “That's obviously an option for me. That's something my coaching staff and parents talk about frequently. As of right now, that's not a decision I've made 100 percent. But yeah, I've been in college a very, very long time.”

Walker said he’ll make a decision on his future once March concludes.

CJ scored 16 points on 6-10 shooting, and had 4 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal, and zero turnovers yesterday. Very solid performance in a huge game. Plus he got the ‘cover’ at the buzzer. :yay3:

He is currently second in the nation in FT% at 75-79 (.9494). The leader, PJ Pipes from Green Bay, is done playing at 58-61 (.9508). For CJ to pass him, he needs to go at least 3-3 without a miss; or if misses one, go at least 22-23 in the tournament with only 1 miss. If he misses two, it would take a deep run and at least 41-43 with only 2 misses. Nobody else is close enough to catch Pipes.
