Used to call a player like him a 'garbageman'. As in, putting the misses back into the basket. Making the backdoor cuts, rebounding like crazy, and just genuinely being around the hoop during the action. Kyle Young is all of that and more. Not a threat to shoot from downtown, but cheat on someone and he's by you, and the team looks for him to do this. Love the alley-oop passes he flushes, and to me, those are the backbreakers, rather than a barrage of threes. Plays a mean D as well, as when Kaleb gets a blow, Kyle seems to be on the other team's stud player in the post. Sure sometimes it's Liddell, but when my eyes are open, it seems to be Kyle jostling for position underneath. Best Buckeye says it true, Kyle's the team glue. Glad to see him get some recognition for points and boards. PS, it's wonderful to see an Ohio State men's team hitting free throws, especially in the final throes of a game. Go Bucks!
