I have always loved Clark, bur rarely more than during a game this weekend when he used the word "exacerbated", then immediately corrected himself that he meant to say "exasperated".
And 95% of his audience was thinking "Huh?"

Eighth in a series profiling the members of the 2013 News-Herald High School Sports Hall of Fame. Clark Kellogg will be honored during a halftime ceremony at The N-H Senior Bowl on Friday.
There aren't many sports legends from Cleveland who can be identified by either their first name or nickname.
Like it or not, "LeBron" fits the bill.
There's also a good chance that if you say the name "Bernie," pretty much everyone knows to whom you are referring ? former Browns quarterback Bernie Kosar.
But one name has stood the test of time perhaps longer than any from the Greater Cleveland area.

More than three decades have passed since Clark Kellogg graced the court at Viking Village, leading St. Joseph to state basketball prominence and catapulting himself into the national spotlight as one of the best high schoolers in the nation.
Thirty-five years after making a name for himself and his school for Bob Straub's Vikings, Kellogg ? Special K ? is an inaugural member of The News-Herald's High School Sports Hall of Fame.
"Cleveland is a very passionate place when it comes to those who come from there," Kellogg said from his home in Columbus. "When the city embraces you, they do it with the full passion and support. I am still to this day claimed as one of Cleveland's, and I'm very thankful for that. That's a source of personal satisfaction and I thank God for it."

ELKHART ? Clark Kellogg was right at home in a gymnasium Friday morning.
He was also right at home in front of a microphone.
The personable former Ohio State star was even right at home in the heart of Hoosier country.
Kellogg, the voice of college basketball for CBS Sports, delivered a thoughtful and meaningful message as the featured speaker for the 22nd annual Community Leaders? Prayer Breakfast.
The former Indiana Pacer star kept his speech short and sweet to the crowd gathered in the sweltering field house at Elkhart Memorial High School.
Kellogg, sporting an Ohio State polo shirt, received a warm greeting after being introduced by Master of Ceremonies Vince Turner. Turner, a former highly-respected sportscaster himself with WTRC, chided the former Buckeye about his collegiate playing days of beating up on the beloved Hoosiers.
?Did all the previous speakers use all of the shot clock?,? said Kellogg alluding to the 45 minutes he was given to speak. ?I can?t go that long. I can?t tell you that I will reach the bar that?s been set for me, but I guarantee you that I will go under the shot clock.?
Kellogg joined a distinguished list of former speakers at the breakfast with athletic backgrounds such as Tony Dungy, Mike Singletary and Randall Cunningham.
Kellogg, who was the Big Ten MVP in 1982 and made the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 1983, talked about discovering his faith during his 30-minute message.
?I was at a Crossroads in my life after having my third knee surgery,? said Kellogg of 1986 when he was with the Pacers. ?I was wondering is there a bigger purpose and then with my wife (Rosy) we found a Church.
?God has a purpose and a plan,? added Kellogg who said he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior in November of 1986. ?It?s all about faith.
?The gift from God is available and it?s free of charge. There?s been no greater joy in my life that I?ve experienced than coming to know and trust him.?

Michael Redd, Clark Kellogg and Ron Stokes honored for good works in community
Michael Redd is accustomed to getting awards — he was an All-Big Ten basketball player and NBA All-Star — but he said an honor he will receive on Saturday means as much as any of them.
Redd and two fellow former Ohio State University basketball players, Clark Kellogg and Ron Stokes, will be honored during the VIP program at the King Arts Complex’s annual anniversary gala at the Hilton Columbus Downtown. The three are getting the recognition for giving back to the Columbus community.
“It’s truly humbling,” said Redd, 39, a West High School graduate and New Albany resident who helps minority businesses get their start. “It means a ton to be recognized by your hometown. It’s not just another award to me. It means something special to my soul.”
The arts complex opened in 1987. It is named after Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and devoted to promoting African-American culture and heritage.
The gala is a fundraiser that helps support programs such as youth summer camps, said executive director Demetries Neely, who explained that a committee chooses the VIP honorees.
“We look at our namesake and try to honor people who are MLK-like,” she said. “One of my favorite quotes of his is, ’Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, ‘What are you doing for others?’ And I think these guys do that every day — pay it forward and pay it back. They are great ambassadors for the city of Columbus.”
Kellogg, 57, is a former Ohio Mr. Basketball at Cleveland St. Joseph High School (now called Villa Angela-St. Joseph) who played at Ohio State from 1979 to ’82, then for the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. Now a veteran CBS college basketball analyst, Kellogg and his wife, Rosie, live in Westerville and support a variety of youth- and faith-based charities.

He also serves as the analyst on OSU men’s basketball radio broadcasts.
“I have great admiration for Ron and what he’s been able to do in terms of minority entrepreneurship,” Kellogg said. “That road is not always easy to navigate.”
Redd, whose 12-year NBA career ended in 2012, co-owns Wave Innovation Group, which invests in minority-owned local startups. He and his wife, Achea, also are active in faith-based organizations.
“Our commitment is to the city,” Redd said. “It doesn’t feel right to do things globally without first having an impact in your city.”
