Fire Franklin to hire Franklin.I read that Rhule is 2-23 against ranked teams. Seems like a good match for PSU.
Gruden to Penn State would give a whole new connotation to the phrase “Grumors at Penn State”
In Jan. 2020 I had to stop in Tampa to fill the gas tank and empty my personal tank. As I’m standing at a urinal, a business woman walks into the bathroom and sets up shop at the sink. Covers the entire counter top like it’s her salon. She starts talking like she’s surprised that she’s in the men’s room, but of course, makes no effort to leave. I warned the poor sap working the register he was about to have a difficult conversation. Citywide truck stop indeed. At first glance, one might think Golesh would be nuts to leave USF for PSU but the cultural difference between Tampa and HV isn't quite as wide one might think.
The weather is and the lack of top tier strip joints, and all the freaks that live in and around Tampa would be missed but that vibe you are in the parking lot of a truck stop all the time? That's the same.

According to a new report from On3's Chris Low and Pete Nakos, Penn State's "money people" had made up their mind before Penn State's loss to Northwestern that Franklin needed to go.
The "money people" were simply waiting on an "opening" -- which the loss to Northwestern provided -- to fire Franklin.
“There were donors and money people at the school that had made up their minds that he wasn’t going to be able to get the program over that final hurdle, winning a national championship,” said a source to On3. “They were waiting for an opening because they knew you couldn’t fire a coach who was in the semifinal of the playoff just the year before....They got that opening after the Northwestern loss, especially after losing the week before against UCLA, where it looked like he had lost his team.”
