Mods, let's stand together with our B1G brethren in Happy Valley. This thread has now gone to 848 pages, but if we remove 409 pages, one for each win torn from Saint Joseph's sacred list of victories, we would be at 439. We could just pile those pages into a fire pit and toss in the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, remembering to count to three first...

I have a question: if they put Dear Leader's remains in the press box can he continue to earn wins and get back to, and then surpass! 408?
Lifeless remains would contribute about as much to the wins as he did over the last few years of his career so I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it. Added bonus- lifeless remains won't actively cover up for and protect a child molester.
It is a win win scenario if I've ever seen one.

I think I'd prefer "life-size cardboard Joe" to remains. It could be printed on the cardboard they use to make those little pine trees to hang from your rear-view mirror... Always a pleasant scent in a steamy press box to overcome the stench the press created to discredit Joesus. And the symbolism in the cardboard for rear-views cuts in so many directions: what little kids thought they saw in the shower room with Sandusky, what Mac claimed he saw, but not the least is that Joeus is in your mirror and getting closer to 408 with each game won. Now there's a remarkable come-from-behind victory that will forever elevate His memory and the university He made.

Wow. This Penn State thing is worse than a train wreck. Going back to 2011, I mean. Not new news - I'm just amazed by it. There was a Futurama episode where everyone was geting dumber. And there was a part where trains were crashing and the people in charge just sent more trains in, without clearing the wreck. That's Penn State. It's not just one train wreck that I can't avoid watching - it's train wreck after train wreck.
I was talking to a co-worker about the airplane with the "Take the statue down" sign that flew around a couple of years ago. He wasn't following or caring so much about it, so I googled it for him. Quick search found Wikipedia (many searches do). That led me to another article, then to another. Eventually, I found this:

If I were a vindictive NCAA/Big, I would give them a 4 year death penalty for trying to anal probe the NCAA politically. Just the non-reporting of campus crimes alone(Clerey Act Violations) would be enough to set them back to the football Dark Ages. It's obvious what the NCAA did was a big fail.
