Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Even though its not as bad as we had hoped, I think that the compliance monitor may be more important than we're giving it credit for.

If PSU does anything remotely stupid in the next 5 years (and the PedTards will without a doubt), I imagine they get hit with LOIC, and will be in a further state of malaise for the greater part of the next decade or two.

At least they removed the wins from Penn State. I thought their would be a tv ban/ suspension of program. NCAA kind of wussed out.

Wussed out? You might be right, but it is certainly a HARSH penalty. All the good players will probably leave. The football team will take YEARS to rebuild after the 4 years is up.

I think it is clear that the NCAA is terrified of the death penalty.

Now, finally, the spotlights and magnifying glasses are on Happy Valley. Behavior doesn't change overnight, so I suspect we'll soon find out just how squeeky clean things ran at PSU.

Vacated wins: Give me a break, we all know what happened on the field, same with us or USC. It may mean something to the Paterno jock sniffers, but how much does that really do.

60 million is a nice chunk of change, but money really shouldn't be the first concern here.

To any other fan base, vacated wins is just a blip on the radar. Does it suck that OSU vacated wins from 2010? Sure, but the school, community, and fans don't hang their hats on "total number of wins".

That's basically all these inbreds had. Nothing speaks more to that then these allegations not surfacing until after Joe POS record setting victory. This modern day death penalty is all about hitting the culture that allowed these atrocities to happen. An actual death penalty with suspended football would have affected other schools in terms of revenue and schedules. It wasn't a strictly football scandal, because their football coach ran the University.

I still liked the idea of forcing PSU to play on the road every game.
