I think the definitive answer about this defense is clear….it’s got potential, but every team with a pulse has moved the ball on it. PSU does not have a good offense and it’s taking all out blitzes to try and slow them down.

"They didn't call holding" can't be the excuse every time they have a guy wide open 15 yards downfield.

You can when said holding allows time for receivers to get open. DB’s can cover for a limited amount of time.
