Penn State +9.5 at Virginia (ov/un 43.5) Sat noon, ABC

Ped Aggy has won before they even take the field. Why? Because the UVA Ped Band no longer exists and won't be there to inflict glorious and deserved pain upon these f*cktarfds at halftime. They'll take a loss. They'll probably take a humiliating loss. Unfortunately, they won't take a loss with a heapin' helpin' of humiliation served up on top of it.

While I don't think Penn State is anything of a good team this year, I do believe in the power of a players passion of the game and his pride.

Some of the players on this team are very good football players that know how to play the game at the end of the day. Virginia is a team that is beginning to get key players but they are still Virginia at the end of the day. The players recruited at UVa vs PSU is very much different.

Eventually PSU - just like the Buckeye players last year - will shake off the off-field issues and just come out and play good ball. Im taking State in this one.

Um, Ohio State lost four games in a row at the end of last season. I wouldn't exactly call that "shaking off" the off field trouble.

Ohio State also lost in the comparable game against Miami (Fl) in extremely embarassing fashion.

One final thought: Ohio State had way better players across the board last season than Penn State can put on the field.

In conclusion, I think your rational is flawed.

In addition, I don't think I saw any players on the field roll over the way the Punting Pedo's did last week. A large portion of our issue last year wasn't from a lack of effort, but a lack of preparedness. That's as much experience and coaching, but not effort.
