Our only meeting with PSU in the regular season, if it comes down to one of us for a bubble spot this win could be the difference maker. I feel really good for our boys to get off the losing skid.

31 points from our bench is awesome! Great minutes from Simmons off the bench. Nice to see him hit some 3s and not be afraid to pull the trigger. Madsen played some nice minutes tonight. And this might sound crazy, but even though Evan only scored 6 tonight, I think it was one of his better performances. He took control and made great decisions down the stretch. He could've easily gotten frustrated and started throwing up bad shots. But he didn't. He fed open teammates and created offense. GREAT leadership out of him! 8 assists to 2 turnovers from ET.

PJ really made the most of his first start. 13 points and only 1 turnover! Nice to see him drive to the hoop a few times and make something happen. And I loved seeing him hit some outside shots as well. Teams have to think he's a threat to pull the trigger out there or he doesn't help this offense much.

The negative I saw was still rebounding. These guys just seem to let people blow right by them and steal the board. The one time that sticks out to me was when the PSU guy was called for basket interference on a tip in of his teammates shot. They showed it in slow motion as 4 Buckeyes stood there and watched the PS player run right by them and tip it in. Our guys just don't seem to get after it quick enough sometimes. Hard to rebound out of zone though...you really have to find a body fast and get after it.

Don't know about that, but Evan really seemed to play within himself tonight. Didn't force matters unnecessarily. Eight assists and 2 TOs = great night.
