Winslow, I agree to a point, but the fact of the matter is, the media/nation doesn't look at "good outings" or "close games", it's the win/loss column. As much as it sucks saying the Big10 is slow, and fat, we do recruit the same players with as much talent than any other conference...but we need to win as a conference to hush everyone.

We're 4-4 in the last 3 years. It's ALL about OSU. America doesn't have the attention span or a balanced network to make them realize this.

Like I said, an unsubstantiated lie that took flight once the B10 was no longer a possible cash cow.

Well, as a conference we pretty much own the BCS and the BCSCG stats, so some of the love is deserved when you talk about the top of the conference. But the other stuff, the Big-10 bashing, does not hold up to scrutiny when you look at the bigger picture. But top of conference against top of conference, we have had it going on for a while now.
