Penn State 17, NOTRE DAME 41 (Final)

Good thing for ND, because Brady Quinn couldn't hit the broadside of a fucking barn. Thank goodness for him his receivers are all 7 foot tall or something.
Wow. Scratch that. Like a surgeon on that last drive.

Has PSU already given up? Little to no pressure on most of those plays.

It has to be perplexing if you are an ND fan.

Hell, it is perplexing if you are simply a football fan.

Question, was Quinn simply hypnotized last year? I ask for it seems he is chucking it up, instead of passing the ball. (Wasn't Weis meant to continue his grooming of the golden boy? Seems not.)
If Quinn's so bad what are the Irish doing up by 6 and what the hell is happening to the Big 10. They look like ACC Lite.

Agreed. The way PSU looks today, I'd say we'll win that game 41-10.
perfect weekend to have a truckload of blue-chippers visiting  (Morgan, Scott, Lindsey, Little, Still... oh yeah and that 4-man OL posse in '08 )

Schedule sure looks a lot easier after this game tonight now...Penn State and Trev Albert's source of orgasms, Iowa, don't look like much.

Was that a clip or wasn't it? Not sure he touched him, killed any chance they had of making it a game...though it wasn't much of a chance.

At the time I wrote that he was not throwing well. Specifically he was missing wide open receivers in the end zone. Since then he has found his rhythm.
As for the ACC Lite issue, what is this sky is falling stuff? Penn State getting drilled (presently) by ND is one thing. Iowa has it tied up with Da "Cuse. If Iowa's greater depth holds true in the 2nd half the line could still be good or, at minimum, preditictive.

That would leave Penn State as the sole exhibit in your "Big 10 is ACC Lite" argument. Who are, remember, playing away in South Bend - and failing to take advantage of two early opportunities to quash ND drives.

They have to hunker down at half-time, in a very big way.

umm... Northwestern lost to 1-AA New Hampshire, Purdue struggled mightily before beating Miami OH in OT (whom the Mildcats beat by 18 last week) and Illinois got DRILLED 33-0 by Rutgers...

any way you look at it, the Big Ten is down this year...

Michigan State is also only up on Eastern Michigan by 7 at halftime, and there is no way that a top 15 team should be tied with a team that has lost 11 in a row at halftime.
