Im hoping Penn state or michigan can pull the upset. That way when they get to usc they will have 2 losses going into there bowl game. Penn state is capable of taking ND. Their Offense is better then ND's D. Penn states D is better then Gtech. If they can get the right Defensive scheme they can easily take ND. They just have to blitz Quinn and make him look like a fool. I think it would be cool if Penn state took Quinn out of the heisman running. 2 int's 150 yards or lower. Im getting my hopes up lol.

They've played well up there historically, but their running game is shit right now, and that doesn't bode well on the road against an explosive offense (that we didn't see) that ND has. Both defenses were better last week than people thought...who knows what that means. Both ST are below average. Morelli will play OK, but I don't think they have a realistic chance of winning this contest. Covering the spread? Maybe, but this isn't one I'd bet on either way.

ND's O-line play was very unimpressive against GT. If PSU's defense can get pressure they could have a chance. Home field advantage will be pretty huge though. ND's defense looks like it improved slightly but if Morelli can get the ball to Derrick Williams they might be able to burn ND.

The way I fel about ND's lines this year is simple.

The lines are going to get set well out there, too much money being set on small lines by subway alumni otherwise.

Net result, bet against ND meeting or beating the spread, money in the bank.

bingo. the books are looking to clean up based on the ignorant masses buying into the hype... realistically, this line should be in the 3.5 or 4 point range, but the hype has pushed it out quite a bit...

i've got a dime on the Lions...
