It always bothers me when the announcers mistakenly believe that the camera is pointed directly down the goal-line when it is clearly positioned at the 1 and a half. There was no way of knowing (from the view they showed) that the ball crossed the plane. Any other view is simply a failure to understand simple Euclidian geometry.
