What kind of quarterback is playing for Purdue now? They are finally moving the ball. Is it the quarterback change or subs on the field of PSU?

You gotta love how PSU is trying to score and beat the spread, 14 points up with less than 2 minutes to play.

They were just running straight up the middle to get a first down so they can run out the clock. You can argue that they're trying to beat the spread by not letting Purdue get the ball back. Joe and Joe are good friends, and Joe is retiring, so Joe is just happy to get out of there with a win. If he did let Purdue get another score, the vbank would be so happy. Kudos to the Purdue kicker, he's taking a lot of heat for saving your hard earned vbucks.

I told Joe about how people are complaining that he's running the scores up on teams when the game is already decided. Told him how classy Tressel is letting them teams keeping it close. Told him that 14 4th quarter points on Ohio/Troy were just accidents.

I have to say that if 20 points is all PSU could put on that dreadful Purdue D, I'm a little less frightened of the Nits (though they did look very powerful).
