Pen or Pencil?

I hate pencils. The sound of a pencil on paper is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

As an engineer, I prefer a pencil. I use a red pencil when making corrections on reports. I do, however, use blue pens to sign reports and a pen when I do crossword puzzles. :p

Not even Buddha does crosswords in pen. At least that's what I've been told when I do my crosswords in pen.

Pencil for scratching down figures or notes, but pen for anything even remotely official-looking.

unless I'm taking a scantron test (full in the bubble) I use a pen... and I havn't taken a scantron test in many years (prob. had to in college for the mega lecture classes)...

Pen, black ink, plain old clear bic. If it's worth writing by hand, it's worth being permanent.

Oh, and not just any pen. I hate cheap ball point pens. I can deal with a good roller-ball, but I prefer fountain pens.

i do crosswords in pen as well; preferably in blue ink. and i like to do the crossword in those magazine one finds on airplanes; then leave the mag there when i make my egress from the plane.

Pencil, because my handwriting sucks. I can't read it myself sometimes. You need the Rosetta Stone to decipher my handwriting sometimes...
