Peach's puzzle - two solutions?

Is this better BkB? Or is it also a man?

Sorry but 1 is not a prime number.

A prime number is any # greater than one that has only 2 factors.

Nothing in either definition says that "itself" and "1" must be exclusive. The only integral factors of 1 are 1 and 1, which is, by definition, itself and 1.

Upon further investigation, it looks like your definition is the proper one for math purposes.
"An integer greater than one is called a prime number if its only positive divisors (factors) are one and itself."

By that definition, I will grant that 1 is not a prime number, even if my personal feelings differ. The hell with those math Nazis!

Wow - I go away for an hour and look what happens! At least you're all still looking at... uh... triangles....

Bucky, my definition of prime numbers is that they have to have exactly two factors. Sorry, but I think Thump's right on this one. (damn, did I just type that?)

Anyway, back to the puzzle... oh, never mind. Does anyone still care?

Dammit! I already conceded that he was right! I'm not going to admit twice that I was wrong!

I just don't agree with the math Nazis on this one. To hell with them!!
(Was that proper usage, Master BKB?)

Depends, do you know anything about Enigma?

What would make you think I, of all people, know anything about Enigma? If there were an Enigma. Which there isn't. At least as far as you are concerned. And you aren't. Concerned, that is. You certainly are an enigma. Not THE Enigma, though.

In summary, I know nothing.
