Is there such a program that transfers pictures from my computer back onto my digital camera's memory card? I got a digital picture frame for the woman, and I want to be able to pick and choose what pictures I put on it.

Most laptops have a slot in the side so you can do exactly what you're saying, and my printer has a card slot in it so I can transfer them via my computer. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you can buy a USB card reader for your specific type of card.

Just plug your camera back into your PC and power it up. Your PC ought to pick up and show the memory card in the camera like another physical drive. You can read from and write to it as you wish. Try and keep the file structure on the memory stick (if it has one at all).

Yea that's it. I actually have used my ms pro card in a jam to transfer needed files from one pc to another. I picked up one of those little slide in converters(ms pro to sd), SD will work the same way. Open control panel look for the specific drive number/copy files over to it with windows,that's about it.

It'll save you a lot of time and trouble getting pictures back and forth, and the things are 8x-10x faster than trying to copy pictures off the camera using the USB cable. That's not an exaggeration either ... it took 30-45 minutes minimum to copy a full 2Gb card off my camera to my PC using the USB cable. With the MicroMate I can copy the entire card in under 5 minutes.

Go to slickdeals.net, go to forums/hot deals, and search for sd adapter. You'll find a ton of $10ish deals (some expired) that will often include another memory card. Much better option than spending the same money on just the adapter.

I tried just plugging it in to my computer and there's no option for sending pics from my PC to the card. I'll have to check out these adapter things. Thanks guys.
