Hating the environment since 1994
    • Anyone have a guess why when I tried the previous 18 system restore dates why it said at the end of the restore process why it couldn't restore to those dates and left me with my currrent settings?

    I got some recent Windows updates that screwed up IE but I couldn't go back to any of the dates in bold.

    If you go to control panel add and delete programs you can "repair IE" that might help you, sorry no real answer to your question. In the past I have had restore block me too.
