I'm not sure where to post this because it appears the Rules thread is closed. But I have noticed a really negative, sour attitude from some moderators today. When did you guys get so touchy? The Morgan Moses and Seantrel Henderson threads have turned into absolute jokes. This is the most exciting day of the year for those of us who follow recruiting and there is no need to get all pissy because you don't like somebody's speculatory remarks. The whole fun of following recruiting is that we can speculate where kids might land. I know you guys work hard to maintain this site and I appreciate that. But don't go taking yourselves too seriously because that ruins much of what makes this the best OSU recruiting spot around.

My response to anyone who wants to complain about the mods today would be that if this is such a great place the other 364 days a year, then spend your time somewhere else on Signing Day and we'll catch you tomorrow. Or go request a refund from the customer service department. Either way, we will continue to take things seriously and do things the same way we always have while constantly trying to improve BP and maintain the standards that have made this the best OSU discussion board around.

Son, we live in a message board that has recruiting forum rules, and those recruiting forum rules have to be guarded by men with moderator status. Whose gonna do it? You? You, Lt. McNeil? I have more responsibility here than you could possibly fathom. You weep for lost recruits, and you curse the coaches. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know. That recruit's loss, while tragic, probably saved losses. And that my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves recruits. I know deep down in places you dont talk about at parties, you don't want me on that wall, you need me on that wall. We use words like honor, code, loyalty. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent defending something. You use them as a punchline. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very recruiting forum I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you make a donation to the site so that way you can continue to enjoy this free service we provide.
