Meh, I will say this, B-Hop is probably the smartest boxer I have ever seen. His fights aren't really exciting, but he knows how to win, and what it takes to win, so respect there... now, that being said.

If Kelly came out and said "I will never lose to a black man" what would that be taken as? Yet, Hopkins came on the Jim Rome show when this fight was announced and said "I will never lose to a white boy" yet somehow justified it to mean something else?

Just my thoughts, grats to the old guy, maybe he'll finally go away, Kelly, you need to recover and get back on track.

Fights and fight styles like what Hopkins employs is why Boxing is a dying sport.

Problem #1 is you were listening to Jim Rome, who, I'm sure, was all over Hopkins nuts in the interview....

Problem #2 is exactly as you said it - if Pavlik says anything near that, he's an outcast and pariah immediately.

Just my thoughts, grats to the old guy, maybe he'll finally go away, Kelly, you need to recover and get back on track.

Kelly will, I'm sure. If he crumbles after this fight, the entire "Pride of Youngstown" stuff was just crap. I don't believe it is, but we'll see....

In a sane world you'd have a point - racism is racism - but in PC America there is no such thing as a black racist. :ohwell:
