The announcers talk about Bailey slowing down, and the great effort by Ben Watson to catch him at the 1.

But if I'm Shanahan, I'm talking to the guy running right beside Bailey, who could have at least got in Watson's way. He was worried about the guy 5 yards behind instead of Watson, who had an angle on the play.

Great to see Brady get a playoff loss. The Patriots were whining about calls all night long. The PI call in the first half was bogus, though.

Wow. I'll bet you're a Brady apologist also, who will claim that the loss wasn't his fault last night, just like the fact that his team didn't even make the playoffs in 2002 wasn't his fault. That's what I don't get about you Brady fans--when the team wins, it's solely due to him being a great QB and has nothing to do with the talent around him, yet when his team doesn't win, it's b/c he doesn't have a supporting cast or b/c everyone on his team is hurt. Pick the side of the argument and stick with it, fellas. Otherwise, you're lack of logic exposes your weak ability to argue.

There's a big difference between giving Brady the credit he deserves and giving him way too much credit. I'll admit he's a good QB. But to label him a Hall of Famer at this point is a joke, and anyone that does so doesn't know much about football.

Statistically, Brady had his best year yet which further shows you have no idea what you're talking about.

I don't know what else you would have to do to get in the Hall besides starting your career 10-0 in the playoffs, with 3 super bowl wins and 2 super bowl MVPs. I mean come on, you may not like the guy, but those numbers alone are those of some of the all-time greats. All Brady needs to do at this point is to keep doing what he is doing, which is putting winning seasons together and having decent seasons statistically.

By the reasoning of people such as yourself, Trent Dilfer, Doug Williams, Mark Rypien and many other run of the mill QBs would be considered "great" simply b/c they won a Super Bowl, whereas QBs like Dan Marino and John Elway before '98 would not be considered great.

Whatever. Feel free to respond, but I'm done with this thread. Until Brady puts up numbers like he put up this year for many seasons, I will not consider him a great QB. I refuse to admit that a player is an all-time great simply b/c he has won a few Super Bowls. See Terry Bradshaw.

If I'm a Bronco fan I am concerned that NE had 5 TO's, some big calls went Denvers way and they still never really put NE away.

Maybe its just me but other than the fact they are playing at home, I don't see any legit reason for the Bronco's to be favored over the Steelers.

The media has been dissmissing Pittsburgh too easily and hyping Plummer up too much if you ask me. I could easily see him revert to form vs the Pittsburgh pressure.

Back on grass vs a team that likes to run and has just an average QB, I like Pittsburgh's chances.

As a Bronco's fan I can easily say we get less respect than any team, ever.
"Plummer is average." "Broncos got lucky, Patriots beat themselves" etc. Our season reminds me of the '02 Buckeyes NC season. "We got lucky, their team is average", and yet we keep winning..

Yet... we are 14-2 and one win away from the Super Bowl. Say what you want, the view from here is looking good.

First of all, if you had read my post, you would see that I am not a Brady or a New England fan. I am quite happy that they lost, I just believe in giving credit where credit is due. If he was from tOSU, I'm sure you would be pretty quick to lable him the greatest of all time. Second, he got them to the playoffs again didn't he? He lost to a very good Denver team on the road. Can you honestly say getting to, and winning three SuperBowls and ten consecuive playoff games in four years doesn't require an exceptionally solid QB? Do you honestly think that would of happened with, say Luke McCown or even Kerry Collins at QB? Third, you can't negative rep me when you have negative rep yourself. Bet you didn't think I'd figure that out. Nice try though cowboy.:lol:

Great summary of the interior weakness Denver showed in that game.

Another factor favoring the Steelers is the contradictory indicator, having to play on the road - versus trying to win in Da Burg.
