I hate the Pats so it doesn't matter to me. That wouldn't happen. No chance Brady gets traded, period. He's the poster boy for Boston.

Cassel to the Jets makes too much sense. Jets put in too much money into their roster to waste a season or two on a rookie, and already failed with an old veteran. Add Mangini to the mix as former Pats coach and the Jets hatred for the Pats... and it all adds up. Even if Mangini gets fired it makes sense.

No doubt Cassel goes somewhere for a pretty good contract after the numbers he put up this year, I just think the Pats are in a tight spot, they'll get alot of money for Cassel, but you also keep an aging Brady coming back from major knee surgery. My point is that the Pat's won't be able to keep both Cassel and Brady. so looking at your options, you can get alot for Brady and keep a proven QB in Cassel, or get something for Cassel and hope Brady makes a great recovery.

Completely sensible.... just not going to happen. It may burn them, but Brady is the Boston Golden Boy.
