Patriots(-5.5) at Colts

I wouldn't bet on this game even if I was forced to.......

I'm going to say Colts by 3, but who knows lol

I'll touch it with an 8 ft pole:biggrin:.... Patriots win by at least 10. The Pats have too many weapons. Look for them to continue to show their balance, pound it with Maroney and Morris (if he's back) and then bomb away to Moss, short slants with Welker and over the middle with Watson. Oh and there's also Donte Stallworth who's been hot in October.

I think the Pats treated the second half of the Skins game like a tune up for the colts. They are going to come out blasting and will look to score until they have a 21 point lead. I only see them slowing down if the Colts cant keep up. The colts havent looked like they are capable of scoring as fast or as often as NE, plus Harrison is still gimpy. However, the Colts can intercept Brady, as they did five times last year. Still, I think both teams come out blazing and NE wins a monster shootout. Pats by 14

If there is a game where this could happen this year, it would be this one if only for the reason that it would be something NE hasnt seen the Colts do yet. Gonzo is persona non grata in the red zone so far.

I agree. The Pats will be so focused on shutting down Wayne & Harrison, that Gonzo could have a big day........atleast I hope.

How do you feel that they're overrated? Just asking........

I feel as if the Pats gave them the game last year. Peyton Manning is a notorious big game choker who had no business winning the SB MVP last year, benefiting from a superb game from his 2 RBs. He's a really good QB, but the fact is, people have given him the nod ahead of Brady forever because essentially of his superior wideouts, great OL and great running game. Look at Brady now, he got himself some receivers to play with and a sweet 15:1 TD/INT ratio.

Tony Dungy is wildly overrated as a coach. He can't hold BB's jock. I have very little tolerance for receivers who refuse to go over the middle (I'm looking at you, Marvin Harrison). I'm also having a hard time believing the Colts D is good all of a sudden, because honestly, they haven't played a good offense in God knows how long.

Look at when the D got good....Who did they beat?
Chiefs (No wideouts/QB)
Ravens (Sick D, no O)
Pats (They gave up a lot of points)
Bears (Grossman rocks!)
Then a bunch of zeroes this year.

I want to see them beat the juggernaut O that is the Pats. I love Marlin Jackson, but he's going to get himself a new asshole this weekend after Randy Moss is through with him. I don't see the Colts having the D personnel to contain the Pats.
