Patriots(-20.5) at Ravens

With the notable exception of the Pats fans on BP, most Pats fans are rapidly becoming as unbearable as Hurricane fans or SEC fans.....

Trust me dude, I hate NE fans. A few years ago they came to SD and we went to the game, some boston chick with a bad accent was trying to tear my jersey, I grabbed her arms and pushed her away then her boyfriend got into it with me. My opinion, the worst fans in the NFL come down to Raiders, New England and Pissburg, in that order. However, if something shuts up the frickin' Fish, I am happy with that.

True, but I don't think the 'phins are really bragging about 1972 at the moment seeing as they are about to tie Tampa for worst-ever, but I don't have any around me here so I don't quite know....

Do you know any Pats fans, or are you just assuming they're like Hurricane fans? I'm not sure what you're basing this on, since you don't live in New England.

So if Illinois scores to take the lead in the 4th quarter of the Rose Bowl, if Dan Fouts says "Illinois wins" you'll be ok with it?

I seriously doubt that.

I'll take the Ratbirds losing is spectacular fashion any day of the week, but the blowjob the Pats are getting from E is getting quite annoying.

Calling it before it is over does not equate to bias or a desire for that result. Do all the Buckeye fans who said the NC hope was over after the Illinios game have a bias against OSU?

I wanted the Patriots to lose and I called it, too.

I work with 3 of them. One of them (he was stationed at Hanscom AFB when he became at Pats fan) is one of my best friends.

We try to keep them from holding hands

I was born in Massachusetts and I have friends and family all over New England. They are just as bad Hurricane fans, and that's saying something.

Troy is the future of the Ravens, hes gotta play sometime. I would love to see him put up some numbers against that D.

While happy Troy is in the NFL, they could have given the Heisman winner better options... Now I'm torn.. I love him because he is a Buckeye but hes on the team I hate the most... Fellow Browns fans understand this dilemna:sob:

I'm going to just drop it....no big deal I guess...

I'm more torn as I've indicated.....

Ha! I guess the many I know aren't that bad. They seem knowledgeable and passionate, and I certainly wouldn't compare them to Hurricane fans. (Although there's a Miami grad on my street, and he's a great guy, so I guess there are exceptions to every fan base. :p)

Having just moved to Boston from Miami I'll throw in my two cents. Canes fans are mostly unknowledgeable and fair weather. They aren't too harassing but that is kinda due to their ignorance.

In "NE" there is a HUGE difference between Red Sox and Patriots crowds. Red Sox games are filled with classy, welcoming, knowledgeable and dedicated fans. A place where you can bring your kids and not worry too much.

Pats fans have much less class and tend to get inhibriated and obnoxious. My 12 year old Nephew hear's plenty of stuff he shouldn't. The mens room can be a high tension area for an away fan. Drunk obnoxious Pats fans packed into small restrooms.

Living where I live, having gone to Angels games and Chargers games, I will beg to differ, but in your defense, those are the out of state fans, so maybe it's just once they get away from the motherland they become bigger and bigger assholes the farther away?

Hey, at least they ain't raiders fans, they use their fists...

I agree with that assessment.
