Free 24/7 - Elite juniors comment on Meyer hire

"It definitely peeks my interest," Wexford (Pa.) North Allegheny's Patrick Kugler said. The country's No. 19 offensive tackle and No. 182 prospect overall, he has scholarships from several places including Florida State, Maryland, Miami, Penn State, Michigan State, Stanford, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. "They're definitely are going to have great recruiting and they're going to keep up there winning ways. I definitely have interest in Ohio State and this just helps."

This kid is big time. He'll be one of the top kids in the country next year regardless of position. Pitt may be tough to beat, though, because his best friend is North Allegheny's QB whose dad just happens to be Pitt's OL coach.

As long as Michigan's gain isn't our loss. Hopefully this helps with Pocic.

Doubtful that Ohio State could match Michigan's OL haul, but we can at least close the gap if we pull in some of the guys on our board like Biven, Pocic, Lisle, and Montelus/Gray/Lazard. At the very least, we know our best Midwestern rivals won't be after those guys. Would rather beat them for a recruit, but gotta give Hoke credit.

He looks like the guy they want at Center... Dad is an OL coach for the Steelers and all reports from Pitt Panther boards is that he is a dominate guy... Love the pickup and the offer sheets are more important to me than a ranking... LTT Fox Dawson and Bosch all have the length for OT.. Same with Bars, Magnuson and Braden... Lots of options... Needed a strong 2 classes of OL to deal with DLines that the Bucks will be lining up

As much as I rip Hoke, he knows where football games are won, the trenches. The real bad thing about this is Hoke can now focus on other players and go after them hard (Issac, Treadwell..). It will be easier for hoke to recruit those players because of the QB and OL they have coming in, with almost no playmakers. I cant wait to see SCums OL vs our DL.

that would make about 0 sense. no way "at least", if someone like Tunsil or Pocic comes along we take another.

yeah, I think I had the number confused. Like you said, I think it's capped at 5 UNLESS one of those others want to come.....crazy haul between this year and next years class
