  • I think many of us have been mystified as to how the NCAA and the NFL come up with their passing efficiency ratings. Well, a little Googling led me to Stassen's NCAA and NFL Passing Efficiency computation page. Simple enter the passing stats, click the button, and "Viola!", results for both NCAA and NFL ratings. I verified that page using Pryor's stats from yesterday, and the result was 129.16, when rounded up to the nearest tenth matched the 129.2 on the game's NCAA stats page. Using this, you can keep track of Pryor's (or anyone else's) rating for the year. After two games Pryor's stats are: 29-52-0, 480 yards, 4 TDs, 158.7 rating.

Compare that to Jacory Harris' rating of 141.35.

Harris' rating comprises a 263.6 vs. FAMU and a 94.33 vs. Ohio State.

So when Da U fans call them the "Suckeyes" was that just an obtuse reference to how their QB would look in the 'Shoe?

    The 'Shoe > Da U

    Good post, "Crazy fingers."

I read it and saw "Viola" there and thought to myself, didn't he used to pitch for the Twins? So, I got out my Baseball Encyclopedia and:

    "Voila" there he was.

One thing, Milwood. Voulez-vous "kick my ass" ce soir?:oh:

Peace, my brother. And as always,

    GO BUCKEYES!!!
