part of your job that you dislike the most?

  • for the most part i love my job. i work with some pretty good guys and my boss is the best that i've ever had. even so there are still parts of every job that you dont like... mine?

    1) reps that call and expect everything to work 100% of the time when they are fucking stuff up (computer wise)

    2) i have to run reports every morning and email them to members of Sr. Mgmt. usually the data is populated around 710 and i generally have the reports finished around 730-745, but there are days that the data doesn't load correctly or something happens and this delays reports, and sure enough one person (same guy everytime) will be the first to respond to my email where i'm telling them that reports will be delayed - with something about "i plan my day around these, please make sure they get done ASAP" - as if i'm just fucking with him or something?! luckily MS has a newer technology that we are implementing that will auto generate the reports and the only involvement i will have (other than new reports) will be if the data load fails!!! hooray for technology

    Nice BKB.

I'm going to have to go with the multitude of tasks that I have to perform everyday. I'm the Sales, Production, Operations, Human Resources, and every other job your office has guy/manager. It sucks running small buisnesses. But the rewards are pretty good though...:p

It is said the average person changes careers 3 times.
But, it's not unusual for a person to change jobs many, many times.

In fact some employers look for upwardly mobile types.
And if you have been at one place more then 3 years, it can lose you a job!

My motto for jobs/work has always been:

    "There's always a better job!"

anchors and reporters with big egos.... we only have a few of them here... for the most part everyone is cool but there are a few.

when we are short handed they tend to take advantage... I told my boss I would work this Saturday and next Saturday because we are still short handed and need to hire a new weekend director... I just looked at the schedule and I'm on Saturdays until the middle of January... this has been going on for two months already... hire somebody!!!

For me it's the worrying. If you guys keep screwing around, posting on BP during work hours, you're going to get your jobs outsourced and the tax revenue will move to Shanghai Province thus drying up my pension source. Get back to work, Papa needs a new pair of shoes!

    1) Scumbag insurance agents. 99.9% of insurance agents are scumbags, so that can be kind of a pain. The other 0.1% are very nice and honest...I hope to meet them someday.

    2) Morons who always ask me, "Why are my insurance rates so high?" My usual response is "Because you're probably a dumbass. There's a surcharge for that you know. Read your declarations page next time."

I love my job and am extremely grateful to be in the position I'm in.

I don't really dig my manager here, he has not any people skills and is greedy but I only have to see him once a week. Even then I don't have to talk to him.
