This is shaping up more like early predictions would have it. A defensively oriented battle. The Bears were dunned on the radio as being unable to cut into a two TD lead -well guess what, that's exactly what they have done. Now Panthers 16 - Bears 14. Bears driving, but doing a good shotgun, point, good, got the foot routine, penalties and 3rd and long from deep in their own territory.

OK - if you want to count coaches - like they really matter :wink2: (I mean all he has done is totally rejuvenate a once moribund Bear running game).

You are spot on I think about Holmes and Smith in that height isn't everything. In fact there is one of those swings maybe happening in the league where tall-tower receivers are now so well schemed against that having the elusive precise route runner that can get underneath, or simply out-run coverage becomes a valued commodity. (Ala The Smurfs with the 'Skins). Though, Smith sports a sturdier frame than Holmes. Spent a fair amount of time in that weight room I figure.

I absolutely cannot wait for some dumb motherfucker to cost his team a game because he dove for the pylon from the 7-yard line like a jackass trying to get on Sportscenter, and ends up tossing it through the endzone. A few have come close lately, but haven't quite done it.

Another Panther TD - to the tight end. Man Da Bears cannot get into a shot-out - alert- miised extra point.

Oh, and the Panthers have another Buckeye having a pretty fair game going on in the party of Nick Goings.
