One thing I'm starting to notice... One thing this debacle has exposed is the extent to which procedure is valued over correctness in making and reviewing calls. The response by some pundits to that problem? Add another layer of procedure. In my opinion, the emphasis on procedure has led to replay creating as many wrong calls as it prevents.
