PA RB Andre Robinson (Penn State Verbal)

Unfortunate, but Andre is a big time pick-up for the pedsters. One of my favorite RBs in this class.

That said, we'll just see how good Franklin really is at selling, because he's got to keep the wolves away from Andre for the next 11 months.

Franklin & Co. going to work. Will they be able to maintain it if they have another down year though ?

They got off to a quick start with '15. The last two weeks they've seen numerous big commitments, but its good for the conference no doubt. Shame he didn't visit first though, Robinson was one of my favorite RBs in this class.

Like Smudger said, we'll see if Franklin can maintain the momentum if they have another down season. Franklin is gonna have to be a helluva coach to milk much out of that team, because the full depth of the sanctions is just now starting to really kick in. The kids from the decent recruiting classes they had pre-Sandusky are starting to move on, and the classes they had from '11-'13 weren't that great. Plus, their depth is rapidly thinning as is. We all saw what happened to scUM last year. After a fast start, their recruiting momentum dried up, and they lost their two biggest guys from '15.

Operative word being commitments. As we all know, verbal commitments are only worth the paper they're written on, like it or not. Over 11 months until signed LOI's. A lot can happen. If Meyer wants him, I wouldn't write him off yet.
