On Around The Horn today, they were talking about the Illini fan behavior at the men's basketball game last night, since Eric Gordon was getting razzed by the fans after he decommitted from the Illini. I was watching it on TV - the fans were throwing beads in the direction of the Gordon family, and apparently yelling F-bombs at him during most of the game.
The guys all declared it poor behavior, but then Tim Cowlishaw said that Illinois students "are only there because they couldn't get in to Michigan".
I thought it was entertaining that he'd say something that stupid on TV, but disappointed that he actually believes that TSUN is a much better school than Illinois. (Neither of my kids ended up going to Champaign-Urbana).
