He was feeling elite that day.Lil' PJ
So ok this will be unpopular but I'm watching the first two series of his new show....when urban retires I would not be surprised if he's our next coach.
He glows when he speaks of his time with tress and at OSU. with him being so young he'd be mid to late 40s when urban hangs them up.
Sure he's annoying and unorthodox (thank you auto spell) but he just gets it. He gets team work, leadership, and becoming stronger from adversity.

That's what I mean... he's new, his players have no idea who he is but legitimately they love him. He has fun, he encorporates life lessons and he's dynamic. Sure he's odd and annoying (to us outsiders) but with his ties to tOSU and my living in Minneapolis I can't help but root for him2nd one was on last night. Good as well.
Love the guy.
If he finds anything resembling the success required to step up to tOSU, some other major program will snatch him up long before us.As unpopular as my opinion is... in 10 years when urban is ready to retire PJ will be more mature and more refined. If he finds success with Minnesota I'm telling you it's very very possible.
I do think he's a quivering douche(row the)canoe
If he finds success with Minnesota (not possible) I'm telling you it's very very possible.
Auto correct has failed me.FIFY
Unpossible
Success is a relative term wrt the varmints. If he can get them to where Mason had them in the early 2000s, and in the B1G West, that's entirely possible, a big name school will snatch him up post haste.FIFY
Unpossible
Right now, as far as consistency, prestige, etc., it's Bammer, tOSU, and everybody else. However, I think we, as fans, overestimate the pull one school has over another. There are exceptions, like when a coach is an alum, or grew up in the state rooting for a school, both of which apply to Urban. But, by and large, coaches are mercenaries who will go to whoever offers the sweetest payday. And there are a number of schools that can go to to to financially with us when it comes to compensating a HC. If an LSU or USC (I'm not convinced Helton is the real.deal after one good year) open up, Fleck is going there and likely staying as long as he's winning. Both of those jobs, God willing, will open up before Urban is done.Auto correct has failed me.
I'd venture to say that he's only a douche because he's not OUR douche. If any of you think he will be snatched up to a larger school by the time UFM retires then you clearly don't see tosu like I do. Tosu is besides bama and May be Clemson the top 3 coaching position in the U.S. and its frankly insulting to think PJ will take a job with UCLA (or the like) and not jump at the opportunity when the OSU spot opens up.
I may be in the minority, but Herman donning a UH hat after mission accomplished didn't really chafe me. He did his job, and was showing his new team he was thinking about them. I had no problem with it.I'd also include Herman but he can honestly go fuck himself with his warm weather, Houston hat wearing during the NCG post game self. Honestly Herman is such a con off of UFM and for him to take the shots at osu he can go pound sand.
Hopefully there's about ten more years for someone else to emerge. Even more hopefully, Luke finds some success at UC, and continues to climb the ladder putting him in a position to eventually succeed Urban.Besides fickle, PJ is really the only candidate I can see.
