Scout $ - IMG 7v7: Brady No Longer "Sleeper" Prospect

3/30

By The Bank....Didn't play as a freshman due to grades, but has since improved. Will play this upcoming season & likes Miami, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Georgia & Alabama.

The Scout analysts (Greene & Simmons) really like this kid as Simmons states in this article. Definitely one to keep an eye on.

RECRUIT ON THE RADAR

Offensive coordinator/QB coach Nick Rolovich might give the Wolf Pack a nice recruiting edge in the battle for a potential sleeper quarterback on the West Coast.

Morgan Mahalak, a highly touted quarterback from the Bay Area, was at Nevada?s scrimmage Saturday on a likely unofficial visit.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Mahalak does not have any offers yet, according to Scout.com, but is drawing interest from many big schools, including Oregon, LSU, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Mahalak will be a junior at Marin (Calif.) Catholic High next season, the same school Rolovich attended. Mahalak played junior varsity last season and will likely backup Jared Goff, a Cal commit, next season. He probably won?t become a starter until 2013, which could make him slip under the recruiting radar.
