OSU's spring break is next week... plans??

Mrs. gbear and I will be heading down to do a little island hopping (we'll hit eight in eleven days:biggrin: ) in the Caribbean, we'll get as far south as Aruba (looks like it is 89 down there, a little too hot.... fortunately the other islands seem to be in the 82-84 range). They say there is a strong breeze on Aruba; I don't think it will be strong enough if it is pushing 90...

Lets just hope a hurricane doesn't come through like the last time we were down there (August)... Although it is fun to tell folks I was on a boat while a hurricane was headed for us (we just "sailed" into the middle of the Atlantic, let the hurricane pass us to the south, then followed it back in... the seas weren't too bad either)... That's what we get for going down there during "hurricane season"...

Apparently, Daytona is reporting that Spring Break attendance is up 20% this year.

The Chamber of Commerce no longer endorses Spring break or the BCR, all advertising and events are now set up by private companies. With promotions like "Keg in the room". :banger:

Daytona is making a come back.

I'm guessing that the whole, getting a passport to leave the country thing, has really helped American hotspots too.
