I thought this series would be HUGE, but it looks like it may be a meaningless as far as the Big ten title is concerned.. Michigan is a great team on paper with a ton of picthing, but they seem to be in a rut like us.

Its only baseball, but we still gotta beat michigan!

This series is still big. Michigan has already played Illinois and Minnesota and OSU has already played Illinois and ends with Minnesota. If either team can sweep the series and get some help along the way, they could very easily be in the title hunt. I say it's time for Coach Todd to pick his best nine, settle on a rotation and see what they can do the rest of the year. Quit juggling the lineup and develop some consistency.

This series is still big

Not really...our hopes ended last weekend IMO. We are done as far as a Big Ten regular season title, but we gotta win a few and hope we can finish in the top 6 of the league.

There are way too many teams in this league playing better ball than us right now. We would have to make a huge turnaround to get back into the thick of things and i just dont see it happening.

Bob Todd's Buckeyes return to action Wednesday vs. Eastern Michigan.

April 24, 2005

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The final three baseball games of the Ohio State vs. Michigan Big Ten series have been cancelled because of inclement weather. The teams had postponed Saturday's doubleheader until today, but accumulating snow made the field at Ray Fisher Stadium unplayable. The games will not be made up. The Buckeyes return to action Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. against Eastern Michigan at Bill Davis Stadium. The game will be broadcast by NPR 820 (WOSU-AM). Ohio State returns to Big Ten action next weekend when it welcomes Indiana to Bill Davis Stadium.
