This Wednesday, August 5, at the Olentangy River Rd. location of Damon's Grill restaurant, members of the Ohio State Football team will congregate for a charity event that is open to the public.
The team, working with the Uplifting Athletes organization, will host the 2nd annual Uplifting Athletes Charity Video Game Challenge at Damon's Grill. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students, and runs from 3-6 PM. The players will be on hand, not only to compete against one another in NCAA 2010, but also to mingle with and sign autographs for fans.
Proceeds from this year's event will benefit research for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease as chosen by the team. It is similar to muscular dystrophy and the very disease that Terrelle's father has been battling. So, Terrelle will definitely be in attendance to help raise money for the research and treatment of this disease that has touched his life.
