If an undefeated SEC champ is in the mix they go. If an undefeated BigTen champ is in the mix they go. If an undefeated BigXII champ is in the mix they go. Hell, if TCU goes undefeated their schedule actually measures up much better than Boise's. The only team that might go undefeated and NOT get in ahead of Boise is Oregon. There are a lot of late season match-ups that could easily bump a team or two past Boise State now that they get to stay low-profile for the rest of the season. A lot of things still have to happen for the Smurfs to get a shot at the 'ship.

The biggest take away from this should be that a BCS team that can beat Louisville at home by 7 is the definition of the "establishment" and if a mid major can take them on and win, then by God they deserve a shot at the NC.

Im not worried about us - I just find it BS that Boise St is now untouchable. Its what we have all been screaming about, but now its beginning to come true. They get 2 games to win and they are in. No one else will beat them in their conference. Next seasons schedule better go: USC, Wisconsin, Florida, then their schedule. That should make up for it. But I will say that it would be pretty cool to beat Boise State in a title game.
As far as Oregon St is concerned, maybe they should have wore their Pro Combat uniforms today.
