Oregon -19.5 at Cal (ov/un 58.5) 7:30 ET, Versus

So Oregon is #1 why? Their "unstoppable" offense managed to score 7 points against lowly Cal, and that was on a short field after a turnover. College football is turning to shit before our eyes ... we need a playoff now!!!

why didn't you take the holding. Tedford?

dumb dumb dumb

I'm pretty sure if they took the penalty Oregon pretty much could've taken a knee right there. Distance wasn't Cal's enemy as much as time and the number of plays Oregon was able to run were. Besides, if you can't stop the other team from rushing for a 1st down on 3rd & 5, you don't deserve to win anyway.

Yep, especially when teams like fucking TCU are considered title contenders even though their big OOC win is over 4-5 Oregon State and they have to hang on at home to beat San Diego State.

Oh wait, they beat "#5 Utah"...yeah, right. :roll2:

Notre Dame 28
Utah 3

The VS crew all have woody's talking about Oregon. It's really gross. Let's play a fun game. Name Oregon's "quality" win. Stanford? Beat ASU 17-13. Everyone else on Stanford's schedule is trash. Oregon is not deserving of being number 1. Auburn should be. Oregon has a schedule that mirrors TCU. Too bad that there isn't another big boy conference with an undefeated team. Oregon would end up 3rd.

edit: I would love to play them again. I thing we could destroy them.

To be fair to Oregon, Cal was absolutely killing everyone they played at home. Auburn squeaked by Clemson, Kentucky, MSU and South Carolina. A win is a win.

Miss St, South Carolina, maybe Kentucky and Clemson would also give Cal a run for their money. I am more impressed by wins over Miss St and South Car than Cal.
