Not to pile on, but I feel the need to drive this point home:
In Barry Sanders' best season he rushed for 897 yards and 16 TDs more than LaMichael James in his best season so far, and Sanders had fewer games to do it in. Plus, Sanders did all of this in confined spaces rather than the spread offense that James benefits from. Sanders did his work with more guys in the box than James ever really faces.
