Oregon -12.5 at Tenn (ov/un 53.5) Sat 7 ET ESPN2

If I were playing a drinking game watching this game and took a drink each time they mentioned SEC speed while UT was winning I would have been hammered by half time. However come the second half I would sober up real quick as they haven't mentioned it once.

I hope Oregon bought the Vols dinner at halftime before ass raping them 35-0 in front of 100,000+ rednecks in Knoxville in the second half. :yow2:

doesn't seem to matter when Bama beats a team nobody expected to be any good......

SEC! SEC! SEC!

The difference is that Penn State is likely to be Bowl eligible where as UT might not win 6 games.

But what the hell, it's Monday. Damn the torpedos and fire when ready.

Those who posted can correct me if I'm wrong; but I expect they're taking shots at the media's love for the SEC, not at the SEC themselves.

So a top PAC-10 team beats a middling (or worse) SEC team. Should be a "whatever" moment for the media, and for the most part it is.

I think it's a sign of progress that they're not killing the whole Big Ten because one of our middling (or worse) teams loses to the top (or close to it) team from the SEC.

Neither of the games is a story.

Great points. I'll add to it by saying that I'd imagine alot of the media doesn't know who to kill simply because every league has had embarassing losses.

ACC - take your pick
SEC - Ole Miss, come on Down
Big10 - Minny
Big12 - Kansas
Big East - Take your pick :shake:

Perhaps the PAC 10 has faired the best thus far...what do you think?
