One Week to The Tour de France!

I am not a cyclist, but I cannot help be excited about Lance Armstrong's attempt to set the record as the only rider to win 6 straight Tours de France. I hope we can all support him in one of, if not, the most grueling sporting events out there.

I agree totally. In the "Sportsman of the Year" article Rick Reilly wrote for SI a couple years ago, he wrote that the average fit college male could do what Armstrong does for about 45 seconds before passing out. I have had nothing but respect for Armstrong since then. I hope he wins again.

I thought it was funny when Reilly said that if he didn't win this year, Sheryl Crow would be considered the "Yoko Ono" of cycling. I think he can still do it, though.

I think his ability to do what he has done and his comeback from cancer make this one of the most remarkable stories of our time.
