One more year, or NBA draft? Big Ten underclassmen make it official

Wednesday was the deadline for underclassmen to withdraw their name from the 2016 NBA Draft. Entering the final day, Iowa’s Peter Jok (staying), Maryland’s Robert Carter Jr. (going), Michigan State’s Deyonta Davis (going), Ohio State’s Trevor Thompson (staying) and Rutgers’ Corey Sanders (staying) had already announced their future plans. Indiana’s James Blackmon Jr. and Troy Williams, Maryland’s Melo Trimble, Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan and Wisconsin’s Nigel Hayes, however, waited until the final hours to make their decisions.
