From a credibility standpoint - I can't believe that the NCAA allows someone like James to broadcast its sporting events.

As a primary benefactor of the gifts and money that forced the NCAA to hand down THE WORST sanctions in the history of the organization (SMU Dealth Penalty) - its mind boggling to me that someone like James is allowed near the booth for NCAA events.

I'm guessing the NCAA doesn't have much control over broadcasters. I agree with the general sentiment, but we would have a lot more Pam Wards calling games if we banned former players who took gifts.

I like Bob for the most part. He'll have a head scratcher here or there, but he's pretty fair and does a solid job when he's not the main personality in the booth.
