No. ND has some good players and an easy schedule. Oklahoma hasn't won a big time bowl game in while.
zwem - even the die-hard ND alumni and fans don't buy that crap.

After getting off the snide vs. Hawaii they will happily settle for a Dec 30 through Jan 1 bowl - and cross themselves to help get needed luck for a win against someone like an SEC 3rd or 4th place.

And when did ND last win a "big time" bowl game? You yourself said ND has an easy schedule...watch what happens when they have to play a really good team, like Oklahoma.

I bleed orange and blue, but it was a combination of poor Okie play calling and a tenacious and opportunistic Gator defense that let us get out of the first half of the MNC game not being down by two scores...

Oklahoma would skull rape the Irish.

Where have I heard that before? :p

The second part was the deciding factor (but not as marketable as "Tebow leads his team to a second NC, never mind his role in 06"), but it's more fun to focus on your first part.

Well I hate picking chalk all the time so I always have an out of the world pick.

Utah played an easy schedule last year going into the sugar bowl against a top sec team. Boise st played an easy schedule a few years ago. West Virginia also played an easy schedule then took down the SEC champs. Does a schedule matter?........yeah it matters but you are either a good team or you aren't.

I really hate ND and at times hate them more than anybody. I will probably hate them more this year because they will probably kill us. They will be decent this year though and all it takes is one upset. With so much crazy shit that has happened in college football the past years, it wouldn't be that hard to believe.

Kind of like how Michigan raped App State, Florida raped Michigan, Oklahoma raped Boise St., or USC raped Stanford? oh wait.....

Honestly, this line isn't as appealing as scarlet and grey. Not only does it not roll off the tongue right, but scarlet is far closer to blood than either color.

From here that combination looks pretty good.
