OL Nicholas Petit-Frere (1st Team All American, Tennessee Titans)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Back in 2018 it seemed like Jackson Carmen was our #1 OT target. We whiffed on him and went to plan B:

The early signing period is over, but this recruiting cycle won't end until national signing day. Here's what you need to know between now and then.

Best available players

Nick Petit-Frere | OT, 6-5, 260, Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Prep, ESPN 300 No. 16
Schools in the mix:
Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Auburn, Miami
The athletic four-star offensive tackle keeps his recruitment very close to the vest and is a little bit of a mystery in terms of favorites. This decision could go a number of ways, with Florida trying to beat out Alabama, Michigan and Notre Dame and keep one of the nation's best at home.

Just sayin': All plan B recruiting options should work out this great......8D

Suspended for 6 games for sports gambling at the Tians' facility, but not on football. I get the rules on gambling on NFL games completely, but I would like to know the logic behind this one because it seems ridiculous. Especially a 6 game suspension, hopefully NPF can successfully appeal to reduce the suspension.

The logic is that if any pro sports athlete gets into trouble with gambling they can be pressured to influence their own games (I am guessing).

And I believe they can gamble on other sports, just not from the team facilities. That doesn't seem that difficult of a rule to follow.
It's not if you are aware of it, it just seems to follow no logic. If you are going to gamble on other pro sports and set up an elaborate gambling scheme with other athletes, it would be easier to do it off-site. That is the part the has me baffled.
